UNESCO held a regional meeting and scientific colloquium in CopenhagenIn the National Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 8 and 9 June 2016, UNESCO held a regional meeting and scientific colloquium dedicated to the protection of underwater cultural heritage. At the meeting, representatives of 9 countries, including Croatia, made recommendations for the protection of underwater heritage. At a open symposium after the meeting twenty experts represented different ways and possibilities for improving access to underwater cultural heritage. For ICUA Zadar, this was also the third visit of Croatian archaeologists and restorers to Denmark, which is carried out in the frames of expert exchange project, under an international agreement with the Danish Agency for culture.
