Excavation of Veruda shipwreck has begun

ICUA Zadar is conducting survey of the post medieval shipwreck off island Veruda near Pula during April 2016. The survey is conducted in cooperation with the German Archaeological Institute and the University of Dresden. The aim is to explore the remains of sailing ship that sank near Veruda in the 16th or 17th century and thereby try out new possibilities for digital underwater documentation.
