German Library arrives in Zadar

International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar received for permanent use Von Petrikovits library consisting of over 6,000 titles in the field of archeology. Library will be, according to the contract that was previously made, used primarily by employees of the German Archaeological Institute (DAI), the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology (ICUA) and the University of Zadar as well as by other interested experts and students. Retrieval of the Library took place on Friday 7.2.2014. in Frankfurt, where employees of Roman-Germanic Commission (RGK) and ICUA loaded together onto a truck almost five tons of books, that later left for Croatia. After the next step, an adaptation of library space in Zadar, this valuable donation shall be available for permanent users and the public.
