Advanced course in underwater archaeology at Ližnjan is completedDuring the research of ancient shipwrecks off the cape Uljeva near Ližnjan, the international Advanced Course of underwater archaeology according to the ICUA Zadar programme was conducted. A course was attended by seven young scholars from different countries - Slovenia, Croatian, Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Montenegro. They had opportunities to take the specialty diving courses in the diving centre KL-SUB in Banjole, listen theoretical presentation of archaeologists and other experts in the Municipality of Ližnjan and participate in archaeological excavations off the cape Uljeva. The project is co organised and supported by the UNESCO office in Venice.
