Second course of underwater archeology at ICUA Zadar just finishedYoung archaeologists from five countries had just left the city of Zadar. They stayed here for the two weeks of intensive diving and underwater archeology course. This training was organized by the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar, together with the UNESCO office in Venice. The theoretical part of the teaching took place in Zadar and the practical part at Pakoštane. Young archaeologists who have been trained in our UNESCO Centre had no experience in underwater archeology so far. An Advanced UNESCO underwater archaeologist's course is being prepared for September, for those who already have some experience in underwater archeology. More information on this course can be read in the column Education.
